Fremantle have bounced back well after losing their opening two games and look to make it three straight against the winless Roos at home.
Freo are coming off an excellent win against the Melbourne Demons at the “G” where they came from behind and stormed home to win.
North went agonisingly close to their first win against the premiers Western Bulldogs but fell three points short after leading by more than five goals in the third quarter.
Travelling to Perth is never easy for any club and North Melbourne have struggled in recent years. Given this is arguably the weakest side the Kangaroos have sent across in decades they have their plates full in this clash.
Fremantle’s younger players in Blakely, Hughes and Weller have stood up in recent weeks and provided the like of Fyfe and Mundy the support they need to get the job done. Big Sandilands is also looking fit and providing a great tall option for the side when moving the ball from defence.
North Melbourne’s side lacks depth and experience. Todd Goldstein continues to play well but outside of Ziebell, Cunnington and Swallow he has little below him to feed.
Harley Balic is ruled out for the Dockers with a hip injury so Darcy Tucker comes in as the only change.
There is a debut for North Melbourne's Ed Vickers-Willis, while Mason Wood also comes into the side. Braydon Preuss is rested and Nathan Hrovat left out.
- North have lost 9 of their last 11 trips west
- Fremantle are ranked 18th in tackles and 17th in contested possessions 2017
- North Melbourne are ranked 6th for marks inside fifty but do not get it in there often enough, coming in at 14th

Prediction and Tips
Fremantle will prove too strong at home and keep the Kangaroos winless in 2017. They will be too good through the midfield on the backs of Fyfe, Mundy and Neale and will supply enough ball to McCarthy, Walters and company to kick a winning score.
North Melbourne has dangerous marking options up forward lead by the impressive Ben Brown but the supply will be too little for any major influence.
Fremantle have started to put some decent scores on the board cracking the 100-point mark last week against Melbourne and whilst both sides are middle of the pack for points scored I think this one could be a high scoring contest in beautiful conditions on the west coast.
