Royal Pines is a very long course by Australian standards coming in at 7,378 yards. It has two par 3s that play over 200 yards from the championship tees and a monster 681-yard par 5.
It doesn’t end there either. You want to make sure that your iron shots don’t roll off the green as there is virtually no fringe. The greens are surround by thick rough and pose very tricky chip shots. Just to get a gauge on the difficulty, the winner last year shot even. They won’t be shooting low and those who scramble best will be rewarded.
