Sydney Roosters and the Brisbane Broncos

Fresh off keeping the New Zealand Warriors scoreless, Sydney Roosters go in search of another big win when they face Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night.

Broncos v Roosters kicks off at 7.55pm AEST at Suncorp Stadium. The game will be broadcast live on Fox Sports and Channel 9 in Australia.

Prediction

Match Preview

Sydney Roosters have been dealt a tough hand when it comes to travelling as they head to Brisbane to face the Broncos just six days after a successful trip to New Zealand against the Warriors.

The Roosters kept the Warriors scoreless as they recorded an emphatic 32-0 victory across the Tasman and they will be in positive mood as they prepare to face a misfiring Broncos outfit.

Consistency has been the problem for both teams this season but there was plenty to like about the way the Roosters won last week and they might just be finding form for the season.

The Broncos are struggling to keep points out with Manly putting 38 on them in a 38-24 defeat for Brisbane and the Chooks will fancy their chances of exploiting the generous defences.

The two sides played three times last years, each winning home games during the regular season before the Roosters edged a thriller in the opening week of the finals as they recorded a second two-point victory over the Broncos.

The Broncos won impressively 32-8 when the two sides last met at Suncorp Stadium in Round 6 last year, but I fancy a Roosters victory this time with Brisbane suffering key outs.

Match Odds

Sydney Roosters - $1.62
