Unbeaten Melbourne Storm kick off NRL Round 3 on Thursday night when they host Brisbane Broncos in the game of the round.
The Storm have started the new season with successive wins over Canterbury Bulldogs and New Zealand Warriors, and get the chance to cement their place as premiership favourites when they entertain a Broncos side which went down by a point to rivals North Queensland Cowboys.
The first of a double header on Friday night sees the Bulldogs bid to avoid a third straight defeat when they take on the Warriors at home, while the day's second game sees the Gold Coast Titans bid for their first win of the campaign against the yet-to-lose Parramatta Eels.
Fresh off Round 2 victories, the Newcastle Knights and South Sydney Rabbitohs go head-to-head in the first of three games on Saturday with their afternoon encounter followed by an intriguing game between unbeaten Sydney Roosters and the Penrith Panthers, who put Wests Tigers to the sword last weekend.
The Saturday night game sees the Cowboys bid to make it three wins from three when they take on a Manly Sea Eagles side which has lost their opening two games.
The Canberra Raiders have also lost their opening two games and will attempt to get their season up and running when they host Wests in the first of two games on Sunday.
Reigning premiers Cronulla Sharks conclude the Round 3 action with a clash with St George Illawarra Dragons, who like them have started the season with a win and a loss.
