Parramatta Eels and the New Zealand Warriors

It's a clash between two teams at opposite ends of the ladder when Parramatta Eels host New Zealand Warriors at ANZ Stadium on Friday night.

Eels v Warriors kicks off at 6.00pm AEST at ANZ Stadium. The game will be broadcast live on Fox Sports and Channel 9 in Australia.

Prediction

Match Preview

Parramatta Eels have won just two games all season but they get the perfect opportunity to add to that paltry haul when they host an out of sorts New Zealand Warriors side on Friday night.

The third-placed Warriors are just two points off top spot and can join leaders the St George Illawarra Dragons on 16 points if they take the competition points back across the Tasman.

But the Warriors have lost two of their three games by heavy scorelines and were held pointless last week when going down 32-0 at home to the Sydney Roosters. Having lost 50-10 to Melbourne Storm on their last road trip, the New Zealand side have questions to answer this week as they continue to be without Shaun Johnson.

The Eels also lost last week when suffering an eighth defeat of the campaign at the hands of Canterbury Bulldogs, and know that time is running out to turn things around if they are to play finals football.

Parramatta won the only previous meeting between the sides at ANZ Stadium and have won two of the last three head to heads. With home advantage, the Eels are value to make it three straight losses for the Warriors.

Match Odds

Parramatta Eels - $2.12
New Zealand Warriors - $1.72
