Prediction

Match Preview

Brisbane Roar will host the Elimination Final after victory on the final weekend of the regular season saw them secure third spot on the ladder at the expense of Melbourne City.

Western Sydney Wanderers, meanwhile, had to set for sixth spot after a draw coupled with Perth Glory's dramatic victory over over Melbourne City saw the two sides swap places.

It means Western Sydney and Brisbane renew finals rivalries 12 months on from a dramatic semi-final with Roar led 3-0 only to lose 5-4 in extra time.

The two clubs also clash in the 2014 Grand Final when Brisbane lifted the premiership for the third time in A-League history. Can they become the first club to win four titles?

For Western Sydney, there has been plenty of heartache in their brief history. Wanderers have lost three of the last four Grand Finals and will be desperate to go one better this time around.

Roar will start as favourites with home advantage and following four straight wins at Suncorp Stadium in all competitions, while the Wanderers head into the finals on the back of a six-game unbeaten run in the A-League.

There was very little between the two sides in the three regular season meetings - one goal in fact - with two ending in 1-1 draws and Roar recording a 2-1 victory at home in the other encounter.
Another tight one is one the cards, but home advantage should see Brisbane over the line.

Stats

Team News

Brisbane Roar are boosted by the return of defenders Corey Brown and Jade North, but are still without Jack Hingert, Matt McKay and Arana through injury.

Having rested a whole load of players last week, Western Sydney Wanderers recall Jack Clisby, Mitch Nichols, Brendon Santalab, Scott Neville, Jumpei Kusukami, Jaushua Sotirio, Jonathan Aspropotamitis, Lachlan Scott and Terry Antonis for the trip to Suncorp.
