AFL Rising Star 2021 Odds
Small midfielder/forward Errol Gulden is the favourite to take out the 2021 AFL Rising Star award in his first season at the Swans.
The 18-year-old is ranked elite in 21 categories, including disposals, marks and contested possessions. He was nominated in Sydney’s surprise Round 1 triumph over the Lions.
Gulden is the $3.50 favourite with online bookmaker Sportsbet to secure the Rising Star honour.
Sydney’s Braeden Campbell ($6) was nominated in Round 2. Whilst, Chad Warner ($5.50) was nominated in Round 3.
Lachlan Scholl will most likely be nominated for his terrific Round 4 performance against the Kangaroos. However, Nik Cox has arguably been the best draftee of the year so far at 202cm and playing on the wing.
Pick 1 from the AFL 2020 Draft, Jamarra Ugle-Hagan is yet to make his AFL debut but has starred in the VFL, although dislocating his thumb you can expect him to make his debut sooner rather than later.
The top five is rounded off with Sydney’s Warner ($5.50), Campbell ($6), Adelaide’s Scholl ($10) and Essendon’s Cox ($10).
