Friday night AFL sees the Western Bulldogs take on Collingwood at Marvel Stadium.
The Magpies head in as slight favourites for the big clash that gets underway at 7.50pm AEST.
The two sides are expected to be among the major contenders in season 2020 and featured in the finals last season.
Collingwood won 15 games in 2019 en route to bowing out in the Preliminary Finals, while the Bulldogs came with a rush and ended with 12 regular season victories but were bundled out by the eventual runners-up in GWS.
The Dogs were the superior side in the pre-season, winning their two Marsh Community Series matches, while Collingwood split theirs.
The battle in the midfield will be absorbing and the likes of Marcus Bontempelli and Josh Dunkley loom as keys for the Dogs, while the ever reliable Scott Pendlebury and Steele Sidebottom will feed off Brodie Grundy, who can gain an advantage in the ruck for the Magpies against the improving Tim English.
Aaron Naughton and Tom Liberatore are among those on the sidelines for the Bulldogs but we are likely to see their recruits, Josh Bruce and Alex Keath, in action.
Collingwood are set to debut Tyler Brown, who is the son of the former premiership hero, Gavin Brown, and the brother of teammate Callum. Adam Treloar is among a handful that will miss due to injury.
Stats Collingwood have won the past three games between the two sides. Two of those have been played at Marvel Stadium, including the most recent clash by nine points in Round 14 of 2019.
In that game, the Dogs had more scoring shots but were rolled by an accurate Pies side that were serviced by Brodie Grundy, who was dominant in the ruck, while Ben Reid booted three goals.
