Suns vs Clippers Tips and Predictions
The Phoenix Suns had a chance to advance to the NBA Finals in Game 1 at home but the LA Clippers proved too good with a 116-102 win at the Phoenix Suns Arena.
Game 6 takes place at the STAPLES Center and the Clippers get a chance to force a Game 7 on the road.
Paul George was sensational in Game 5 with 41 points, 13 rebounds, six assists and three steals after shooting 15-20 from the field. Marcus Morris Sr. set the tone in the first quarter as he finished with 22 points. Reggie Jackson was excellent later in the game adding 23 points while Patrick Beverley’s defence has been incredible as he has got under the skin of the Suns players and fans.
The Suns need to feed the ball to Deandre Ayton more as the big man took just nine shot attempts in their Game 5 loss. He can use his size and strength to make high-percentage shots and dunks.
If the Suns lose Game 6, then there is every possible chance they will blow Game 7 also which is why this is a must-win game on the road as the Suns look to eliminate the Clippers and advance to the NBA Finals.
