Bet Of The Day July 15

The NRL Round 18 match between the Parramatta Eels and New Zealand Warriors features as Bettingpro.com.au’s best bet for Friday July 15.

Bet Of The Day July 15 – read on below for our reasoning behind today’s best bet.

Key Points

  • Eels have won four of the last five games between the teams
  • Warriors have lost seven straight games in Australia
  • Eels have seen over 38.5 points in 13 of their last 14 games
  • Warriors have seen over 38.5 points in nine of their last 10 games
  • Eels have seen a 1-12 margin in eight of their 10 wins this season

We’re off to the NRL for today’s best bet and we’re targeting some big value when the Eels play host to the Warriors at CommBank Stadium.

Parramatta are looking to keep pace with the top four and have won four of their last five games against the Warriors, who should be in good spirits after their triumphant homecoming a fortnight ago against the Tigers.

The Eels are by far the better side, but they have struggled against the lesser teams all season long, while they have also failed to blow teams off the park in the majority of games.

Indeed, eight of the Eels’ 10 victories in 2022 have been by a 1-12 margin – including last week’s 28-20 win over the last-placed Tigers.

As a result, we’re backing another narrow Eels win here, but also adding in over 38.5 total points, with both teams seeing plenty of points all season long.

Parramatta have seen over 38.5 points in 13 of their last 14 games, while over 38.5 points has landed in nine of the Warriors’ last 10 matches.

So while we’re expecting the Warriors to offer some resistance, we must remember they were on a seven-game losing streak in matches outside of New Zealand, so upsetting the Eels at CommBank is almost certainly out of their reach.

With those aforementioned numbers in mind, getting almost $7.00 for the Eels 1-12 & over 38.5 points is certainly worth a punt tonight.
