We’re off to the NRL for today’s best bet as the Sharks look to further strengthen their top four position when they face the Warriors in Auckland.

I think the Sharks are great value as the underdogs here.

The Warriors are rolling along nicely this season, but I’m not convinced they are on track to finish inside the top eight.

While they’ve had some decent wins, the Warriors are yet to defeat a top four side this season, while the last time they played in Auckland, they were dismantled 28-6 by a Rabbitohs side who were horrendously out of form.

Cronulla have won 10 of the last 13 meetings between the teams and the last three straight in Auckland, so they won’t be daunted by a trip across the ditch.

The Sharks will also have revenge on their mind – they were dominating the Warriors and leading by 26-6 in the first half of their clash earlier this season before collapsing and losing 32-30.

Point is that the Sharks are clearly the superior side and the Warriors produced a Houdini act to escape that contest. Very unlikely lightning strikes twice.

The Sharks have won their last three games by 24+ points, so they are in good form and obviously very confident. Great value of $2.00 for the team higher on the ladder to prevail here.
