Bet Of The Day September 24

The English Premier League match between Arsenal and Tottenham features as Bettingpro.com.au’s best bet for Sunday September 24.

Bet Of The Day September 24 – read on below for our reasoning behind today’s best bet.

Key Points

  • Arsenal are unbeaten in their seven games this season
  • Arsenal have won six of those matches
  • Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 12 home games vs Tottenham
  • Arsenal have won eight of those games and the last three straight
  • BTTS has landed in the last five EPL meetings between the teams at the Emirates
  • Tottenham have scored in all of their games this season
  • Arsenal are unbeaten in 95 per cent of their home league games when pre-match favourites since the start of last season

We’re off to the Premier League for today’s best bet as Arsenal and Tottenham collide in a blockbuster North London derby at the Emirates Stadium.

It’s one of the most highly-anticipated games of the season so far, with Aussie manager Ange Postecoglou – fresh off winning the first EPL Manger of the Month award – testing himself against one of the best teams in the league.

Postecoglou has already got Spurs playing ‘Ange Ball’, which means we’re expecting plenty of goals, with Tottenham certainly not going to change the way they play here.

However, while Postecoglou has done a magnificent job, he’s also had a relatively soft draw to open the campaign and Tottenham barely got over the line against Sheffield United at home last week.

Spurs needed two goals in injury time to escape with a 2-1 triumph, while their previous two wins were against Burnley and Bournemouth. That’s three teams that could easily be relegated at season’s end.

Which is why we’re backing Arsenal to win an entertaining affair.

The Gunners have won six of their seven games in all competitions this season and coming off a thumping 4-0 win mid-week in the Champions League over PSV.

Arsenal have gone unbeaten in their last 12 home games against Tottenham, winning eight, while both teams have scored in the last five EPL meetings.

Arsenal have also gone unbeaten in 95 per cent of their home league games when pre-match favourites since the start of last season, winning 16, drawing four and losing one.

The Gunners are the slightly superior team at this point in time and at home, we’re confident they can come out on top, but Tottenham have scored in every game this season and should be able to find the back of the net.
