We’re looking for some value heading into the weekend for today’s best bet and I’m confident we’ve got some when Western Sydney Wanderers host Brisbane Roar in the A-League tonight.

The Wanderers have transformed into a very tough team to break down under the tutelage of Carl Robinson and come into this clash unbeaten in six of their last seven games.

Western Sydney have drawn three consecutive games and this looms as a perfect chance to return to the winners circle on home soil against a team that has been struggling over the last couple of months.

Indeed, Brisbane have won just one of their last nine matches and have found it tough in the final third, scoring more than one goal in a game just once since February 6.

With both sides struggling to find the back of the net in recent games, we’ll be heading to the under 2.5 goals market for some value.

The Wanderers have been playing the better football all season and should get the win on home turf, but it will be tight.

Key Points

  • Wanderers are unbeaten in six of their last seven matches
  • Brisbane are winless in eight of their last nine matches
  • Under 2.5 goals has hit in seven of Brisbane’s last nine games
  • Under 2.5 goals has hit in two of Western Sydney’s last three games
