Absolutely no way Coric should be priced as a $1.30 favourite. The Croatian has only won one match at Wimbledon throughout his entire career – and that was a 9-7 in the fifth victory over Sergiy Stakhovsky all the way back in 2015.

Coric has lost in the first round in four of his five Wimbledon main draw appearances and has a negative 13-16 win record overall on grass.

It’s not looking any better for Coric this summer – he’s 0-2 on grass, not even coming close to winning sets in one-sided defeats in Hertogenbosch and Halle.

Pella meanwhile is a former quarter-finalist at Wimbledon, beating the likes of former finalists Marin Cilic, Kevin Anderson and Milos Raonic on the famous lawns.

Despite representing Argentina, Pella is far from a clay courter and can actually produce some of his best tennis on the green stuff.

Pella has been working his way back from injury since the start of the year and he’s won the first round in five of his last six tournaments.

The Argentine has also looked solid on grass in the lead-up, beating Marcos Giron in Mallorca before falling to eventual runner-up and grass specialist Adrian Mannarino in three sets.
