Bet Of The Day June 24

The AFL Round 15 match between the Western Bulldogs and Hawthorn Hawks features as’s best bet for Friday June 24.

Bet Of The Day June 24 – read on below for our reasoning behind today’s best bet.

  • Four of our last five ‘BOTD’ have landed 🔥

Key Points

  • Bulldogs have won four of their last five games
  • Hawks have lost eight of their last 10 games, including their last three straight
  • Five of Hawks’ last six defeats have been by a 1-39 margin
  • Two of Bulldogs’ last three wins have been by a 1-39 margin
  • Bulldogs have won two of the last three meetings between the teams, with both coming by a 1-39 margin
  • Jack Macrae has recorded 30+ disposals in 32 of his last 39 games, including his last six straight
  • James Sicily has recorded 20+ disposals in all 13 of his games this season

We’re off to the AFL for today’s best bet as the Bulldogs look to continue their finals push when they come up against the struggling Hawks.

It was a slow start to the season for the Bulldogs, but they are making up for lost time and come into this clash having won four of their last five matches.

The Dogs are currently one win outside the top eight after coming away with a 125-105 victory away to the Giants last week. Aaron Naughton and Cody Weightman each booted five goals, while Jack Macrae continued his resurgent form, notching up 37 disposals and kicking a goal.

The Bulldogs are averaging 112 points across their last five games, which puts them in good stead for this contest with Hawthorn, who are conceding 104 points over their last 10 games.

Hawthorn have lost eight of their last 10 outings and head into this showdown on the back of a three-match losing streak, last going down to the Dockers before the bye.

In saying that, the Hawks have managed to keep their defeats close, with five of their last six losses coming by a 1-39 margin.

With that in mind, we’re going to back the Bulldogs home by a 1-39 margin. And after landing four of our last five ‘BOTD’ – including yesterday’s $3.10 chance – we’re going for more value.

We mentioned Macrae had returned to his best form, so we’re backing the ball magnet in for 30+ disposals. Macrae has eclipsed that total in his last six consecutive appearances and 32 of his last 39 games dating back to the start of last season.

We are also jumping on James Sicily of the Hawks to register 20+ disposals, something he’s managed to do in all 13 of his games this season.
