April 14: Man City to beat Borussia Dortmund & both teams to score @ $2.87 ✅

After landing our $2.87 chance with Man City beating Borussia Dortmund and both teams scoring in the Champions League this morning, we look to keep our momentum going today as we head to the Monte Carlo Masters.

We’ll be jumping on World No. 1 Novak Djokovic to cruise into the quarter-finals when he comes up against the unseeded Dan Evans.

Playing his first match since winning the Australian Open title in February, Djokovic had to be at the top of his game for an opening challenge against rising star Jannik Sinner.

Djokovic was extremely impressive given the circumstances, dropping just six games in a 6-4 6-2 victory. The Serbian withstood a late challenge from Sinner in the opening set before storming away with the match in the second.

Already operating at a high level this early in the tournament, I expect Djokovic to drop even less games against Evans.

The Brit is having a good week, beating Hubert Hurkacz in the second round, but the fact remains that clay is his least preferred surface.

Indeed, Evans had only won four tour-level matches on the surface before this week, while he barely played on clay at Challenger level.

Djokovic should eat up Evans’ variety and net approaches with ease. The World No. 1 is a nightmare match-up for Evans on clay – he doesn’t have the raw power to hit through Djokovic, while his change of pace will be comfortable for the Serbian to handle.

Djokovic ended up with a routine victory over a far more tougher opponent in the second round and should be winning this clash with minimal fuss.

Key Points

  • Djokovic is 10-0 in 2021
  • Djokovic dropped just six games in his opening match in Monte-Carlo
  • Evans was 4-13 on clay at tour-level before this week
  • Evans is 3-14 vs top 10 players and has never beaten a top five player
