We’re off to the NRL for today’s best bet as top four mainstays Parramatta come up against the last-placed Bulldogs at Bankwest Stadium.
The Eels more often than not beat those below them on the ladder in comfortable fashion and we expect that to continue today.
As such, we’ll be taking the Eels by 13+ and under 50.5 points for some extra value.
In addition to winning nine of the last 11 meetings between the teams, Parramatta have won by 13+ margins in their last eight games against bottom eight teams.
Parramatta have registered 30+ points in all of those victories, highlighting how dominant they are against those sides at the wrong end of the ladder.
Traditionally these two rival sides play out low-scoring games as well, with 14 of the last 15 matches between the teams producing under 50.5 points.
Canterbury for their part most likely won’t contribute too much to the points total – they have the worst attack in the competition and that is only amplified against top four sides.
This is evident through the fact the Bulldogs have seen under 50.5 points in 13 of their last 14 games this season.
Bankwest Stadium has also been seeing low-scoring games this season, with just one game surpassing 52 total points.
All signs point to another routine win for the Eels – they should be able to prevail by 13+, but the Bulldogs’ poor attack should ensure we see under 50.5 points.
- Eels have won nine of the last 11 meetings between the teams
- Eels have won by 13+ margins in their last eight games vs bottom eight teams
- Eels have scored 30+ points in all of those victories
- Bulldogs haven’t won back-to-back games since 2019
- Fourteen of the last 15 meetings between the teams have seen under 50.5 points
- Bulldogs have seen under 50.5 points in 13 of their 14 games this season
- Bankwest Stadium has yet to see a game clear 52 points this season
