Sticking with the NRL after yesterday’s best with the Storm beating the Broncos 13+ and over 48.5 points landed. Today we head to Townsville when the Cowboys host the Warriors and we’re backing the underdogs to come out on top at home.

This is a match we believe the bookies have the wrong way round.

North Queensland have turned a corner after their slow start to the season and have been outstanding at home, winning their last four straight matches.

The Cowboys have scored 30 points or more in three of their last five wins and ultimately cruised to victory 36-20 over the Knights in Townsville last week despite losing two players to the sin bin in the opening half.

By contrast, the Warriors haven’t been able to compile any sort of momentum so far in 2021.

Indeed, the Warriors are yet to win back-to-back matches for the season, and after edging the Tigers by four points last week, we think that trend will continue here.

The Warriors have lost three of their last four away games (from their temporary base in Gosford) and have leaked 26 points or more in their last three matches – which doesn’t bode well for a Cowboys side who are extremely dangerous on their home turf.

As mentioned, we think the bookies have this wrong – but we can take advantage by taking the Cowboys to extend their home winning streak to five matches in the H2H market with Sportsbet.
