We’ve made some solid profit over the last week or so with our #BOTD and we are going for more value with today’s best as struggling Perth Glory face competitions leaders Melbourne City in the A-League.

City have been by far and away the form team in the A-League this season and that’s reflected by their three point lead at the top of the ladder with two games in hand.

City have won nine of their last 12 games and the goals have been flowing, with the team scoring at least three in seven of their last nine wins.

Jamie Maclaren has scored 20 goals this season and he will be relishing the chance to find the back of the net multiple times in this clash, with Perth conceding at least one goal in 16 of their 17 games this season.

With City’s attack and Glory’s shaky defence, I’m expecting goals in this one. However, while City are heavy favourites, I do think Perth can find the back of the net themselves.

Glory have scored at least one goal in six of their seven home games this season and 12 of their 17 games overall.

City have also conceded in six of their last seven games, so it’s not as if the league leaders have been a brick wall at the back.

Overall, City are by far the better side and should be able to claim all three points, but Perth can get on the scoresheet at home.
