Bet Of The Day November 10

Andrew Hendrie:
Bet Of The Day November 10

The ATP Stockholm second round match between Felix Auger-Aliassime and Filip Krajinovic features as’s best bet for Wednesday November 10.

Bet Of The Day November 10 – read on below for our reasoning behind today’s best bet.

We’re going for an upset for today’s best bet as World No. 42 Filip Krajinovic comes up against World No. 11 Felix Auger-Aliassime for a spot in the ATP Stockholm quarter-finals.

Auger-Aliassime has undoubtedly established himself as one of the brightest young talents in the sport and is on the cusp of breaking into the top 10, but he is still prone to early round exits – especially on indoor hardcourt.

Indeed, Auger-Aliassime has a poor 3-4 record on the surface this season, with the Canadian losing in the first or second round in two of his three tournaments.

One of those exits came last week at the Paris Masters, where after struggling past Gianluca Mager in three, Auger-Aliassime went down to Dom Koepfer in straights.

If Auger-Aliassime can’t improve his level from last week, then we think he is vulnerable in this match-up against Krajinovic, who plays his best tennis indoors.

Krajinovic is 39-31 lifetime on indoor hardcourt at tour-level and has put together some excellent results on the surface, including finishing runner-up at the Paris Masters and the most recent edition of this tournament here in Stockholm.

The Serbian got his campaign off to a nice start, easing past Denis Istomin in straight sets, which gives him some momentum and confidence for this clash.

Krajinovic knows he can beat Auger-Aliassime – he’s done it twice before, including on indoor hardcourt at Rotterdam, while he also triumphed on the clay of Rome last year.

If Krajinovic can play close to his best and Auger-Aliassime continues to operate below his best after his performances last week in Paris, then the Serbian is every chance for the upset here.
