AFLX 2019 Odds - Deadly team favourites to win AFLX

Gary Emmerson 10 Feb 2019

Eddie Betts and the Deadly team have been installed as the $3.00 favourites to win the 2019 AFLX competition.

The drafting of the likes of Tim Kelly and Chad Wingard into the Deadly team has given them favouritism for the pre-season event, followed closely with the Nat Fyfe-led Flyers who are next in the market at $3.50.

The Jack Reiwoldt-captained Rampage side are $4.00 to win the four-team competition while Patrick Dangerfield and his Bolts round out the market at $4.50.

“The market is even given the new rules for the competition, but based on the draft we have team Deadly as front runners - they will have no shortage of pace and goal kicking,” said TAB’s Shaun Anderson.

The 2019 AFLX competition switches to just the four-team format instead of having all 18 AFL teams compete as in the inaugural competition in 2018.

AFLX will take place at Marvel Stadium on February 22.
