Closest is the provincial meeting at Wyong.

While the bush meeting is way up at Port Macquarie.

Good sized fields should present value for us.

Good luck with your bets today everyone.

Wyong races on a Soft 7, and rail is true all way.
Port Macquarie races on a Soft 6, and rail is out 4m all way.

Just want to get further in front of the ledger.

WYONG

Race 3 - 1:25PM POTTERS FLOORING 2YO MAIDEN HANDICAP (1300 METRES)
If the Clarry Conner-trained SKYRAY fires up, he could explode away from these. He has form at this track, but more importantly he looked outstanding in his trials this time up. Then he started first up with a big weight and hit the line well for 2nd. Fitter now and this trip suits. Significantly, too, Brenton Avdulla takes the race ride here for the first time and the 'Gun' was on him when he looked a million dollars winning his trial back in early June.

Race 4 - 2:05PM PROVINCIAL & COUNTRY MAIDEN HANDICAP (1100m)
Backing juveniles in open maidens is a tough ask normally - until this time of year. And the locally trained TRUMBULL is one of those here, that is well worth backing He was terrific on debut when 3rd and showed he was ready to rumble with runaway recent barrier trial win. Kim Waugh's horses always race better at Wyong and first up, with weight allowance here, he looks the play.

PORT

Race 1 - 12:30PM MITAVITE MAIDEN PLATE (1512 METRES)
It will be interesting to see how they ride KRISTENSEN in this. When Gai and Adrian trained him, he would dash tro the lead and he placed twice at provincial level racing that way. But 18 months on, he is with Ben Smith and there is a clear move to have him settle behind the pace. Either way, if you evaluate this horse on the quality of horses he's raced and gone well against with before, he stands head and shoulders above these. If he runs up to his very best, he wins by a minute.

Race 3 - 1:45PM TRACKSIDE PHOTOGRAPHY BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP (2018 METRES)
There's an undeniable sense of timing in regards to this bloke FACE LIKE THUNDER. He's weighted to win. He's at a trip that suits him perfectly. He's 4th up here and is drawn to be one out, two back. Looks the winner.
