Randwick Guineas Betting Odds - Comin' Through an uneasy favourite

  • Comin' Through tops the betting
  • Hobartville Stakes rivals set to clash again
Comin' Through

Comin' Through is an uneasy favourite to win the Group 1 Randwick Guineas (1600m) on Saturday in what looks a wide-open three-year-old feature.

The Chris Waller-trained runner will have the Magic Man Joao Moreira on board and heads the market at $4.60 with Sportsbet, but this year's running looks hugely competitive with six runners at $8.00 or less in the betting.

Comin' Through was third in the Group 2 Hobartville Stakes last start behind Anthony Cummings' Man From Uncle, who sits on the second line of betting at $6.00, and the Kristen Buchanan-trained Echo Effort, who split the pair in second and is $8.00 to go one better on Saturday.

The Kris Lees-trained Invincible Gem, the only other last start winner heading into the $1 million feature having posted a massive 3.8-length win in the Spring Stakes (1600m) at Randwick last start, is also at $8.00.

Shorter in the market is third favourite Inference for Team Hawkes with the Hobartville Stakes fifth currently $6.50 for the Randwick Guineas.

Prized Icon was sixth in the same race for James Cummings but is $7.00 to produce an improved effort on Saturday despite drawing the widest gate.
