Manly Sea Eagles look to continue their dominant record over New Zealand Warriors when the two sides clash in NRL Round 21 action in Auckland on Friday night.

Warriors vs Sea Eagles kicks off at 6.00pm AEST at Mt Smart Stadium. The game will be broadcast live on Fox Sports in Australia.

Prediction

Match Preview

Manly continue their charge towards the top four as they face the struggling Warriors in the first game on Friday night.

The Sea Eagles have been on fire over the last couple of months and bring a three-match winning streak into this encounter, conquering the Eels, Storm and Knights.

In fact, Manly have only lost one game since May, and that was by a 21-20 scoreline to the Rabbitohs almost a month ago.

Des Hasler has enjoyed a spectacular resurgence with Manly and has his side exactly where he wants them heading into the finals - but they mustn’t take their foot off the pedal against a desperate Warriors side on Friday night.

Stephen Kearney’s side were crushed 46-12 by the Raiders at home last week as they dropped down to 12th on the ladder, leaving them with a nearly-impossible task to make the finals from here.

Furthermore, the Warriors have lost their last six games at Mt Smart Stadium and 14 of their last 16 games against the Sea Eagles, while they also haven’t beaten Manly at home since 2013.

The news gets worse for the Warriors, with Kodi Nikorima missing this encounter with an ankle injury, replaced by Chanel Harris-Tavita.

With all of that taken into account, it’s hard to go past Manly here. Hasler will ensure there’s no complacency from his side, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the Warriors are on the end of another big scoreline on Friday.

Match Odds

Manly Sea Eagles - $1.38
New Zealand Warriors - $3.05
