The Sydney Thunder are the form team of the competition, winning their last six matches. They have shown their abundance of quality and is important that they maintain this form heading into a promising BBL 11 playoff campaign.

They defeated the Hurricanes comfortably by nine wickets in their most recent outing, in both sides first game since being relocated to Melbourne. Alex Hales starred with the bat, making an unbeaten 80*, smashing 12 boundaries on course.

Juxtaposed to Hobart, who had no one be able to create a meaningful innings with the bat on such a large ground. However, you can expect a higher run-scoring much on a smaller ground at Marvel Stadium.
