Batting first, the Heat compiled 7/208 (20) courtesy of Ben Duckett’s 78 runs from 47 balls and Sam Heazlett’s 49 from 30. Mark Steketee bowled well picking up 3/27 from four overs and James Bazley picked up 2/27 from his four as the Heat restricted the Strikers to 8/169 (20).

The Melbourne Stars look to bounce back from a 24-run loss against the Hobart Hurricanes.
