Australia vs India ODI Tips & Predictions ?

Australia to make it a clean-sweep of the series

It has been a dominant performance from Australia in the first two ODIs as they have won by 66 runs and 51 runs. The Aussies have batted first in both games, scoring 6-374 and 4-389 off their 50 overs in both matches. India have never really looked to be in the hunt losing eight and nine wickets respectively. It’s hard to see the tourists turning the tables and Australia should make it a 3-0 clean sweep.

Steve Smith to compile another score

Back to back centuries for star batsman Steve Smith who scored 105 (66) and 104 (64) to earn Player of the Match honours on both occasions. Smith has looked unstoppable against the Indian bowling attack and there’s very little reason to think he won’t dominate in the 3rd ODI. The line is set at 37.5 runs and Smith to score more than that total looks a great bet. If he gets set, you can expect him to score quickly and at the moment, he will have another ton at the forefront of his mind.

Josh Hazlewood to continue his excellent bowling

Australian pace bowler Pat Cummins will be rested from the 3rd ODI. Josh Hazlewood has been the pick of the quick bowlers for Australia taking 3-55 off 10 in Game 1 and 2-59 off nine in Game 2. His fellow opening bowler Mitchell Starc has struggled so far in the series, but Hazlewood has struck claiming key wickets of Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli. Hazlewood should put in another good spell of bowling and looks most likely to take the most wickets for the Aussies.
