India vs England 3rd Test Tips and Predictions ๐Ÿง

India bounced back in the series with a thumping 317-run victory over England who had captured the opening Test match.

Scores of 329 and 286 put India into a striking position as Rohit Sharma made 161 in the first innings and Ravichandran Ashwin, better known for his outstanding spin bowling, scored 106 in the second dig. England failed to surpass 200 with dismal scores of 134 and 164. Ashwin picked up 5/43 and 3/53 for the match.

England will need to play better against the spin of Ashwin in the third Test to have any chance of winning. Yorkshire’s Jonny Bairstow has been called up and looks to get his Test career back on track after four starts without converting against Sri Lanka last month.

Bairstow won’t be keeping after Ben Foakes was outstanding last Test. With just his batting to focus on, Bairstow looks value to be England’s top runscorer in the first innings and add to his 4,169 runs in his Test career.

Indian opening batsman Shubman Gill burst onto the Test scene against Australia but hasn’t fired at home just yet with scores of 29, 50, 0 and 14 this series. The 21-year-old will look to cement himself alongside Sharma at the top of the order and looks a solid chance to lead the team in scoring in the first innings.
