India vs England 3rd Test Tips and Predictions 🧐

The fourth and final Test will be held in Ahmedabad, and I am awaiting another slow-bowling-friendly pitch. Joe Root, England’s captain, will almost definitely field both Jack Leach and Dom Bess, as well as himself as a third spinner.

Axar Patal finished with match figures of 11-70 after taking six wickets in the first innings and five in the second. Ravichandran Ashwin took seven wickets in the match. These two will be vital for India, and I think they will win this Test and the series 3-1.

At the start of the fourth Test in Ahmedabad, there will certainly be plenty of turn and dust on this pitch. Axar Patel shocked everyone with his performance in just his second Test match, he turned the England batsmen inside-out in the first innings, gathering figures of 6-38, before adding more mayhem in the second innings with five more wickets. However, I think it will be the experienced Ashwin that will run the show with the ball for India in the fourth test.

England’s main mistake made in Ahmedabad was picking just one full-time spinner, Root went with Leach and then brought himself on when things didn’t go as expected. Root wants to select two spinners and put them on as needed, so I’m going with Bess as England’s spinner of choice. He’ll be ready to prove he’s England’s best bowler after being left out on a pitch that was doing a lot.
