The Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings are set to clash heads on Monday when they battle it out at the Dubai International Stadium.

Ricky Ponting’s outfit can pile the pressure on the Super Kings if they get a positive result against the Mumbai Indians tomorrow. It will be a tough task to overtake them with three games remaining and a significantly lower net run rate.

Although, they will have recent history on their side. The Capitals have won the previous three encounters between the two sides, including their seven-wicket triumph earlier in the season. Shikhar Dhawan was immense that match, scoring 85 runs (54) to drag them to victory.

Similarly, the Super Kings also have four wins in their last five matches after downing the last-placed Sunrisers by six wickets. However, it wasn’t easy as they chased the short total down with two balls remaining.
