Australia and the West Indies are set to battle it out again on Saturday when they battle it out at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium.

Justin Langer’s outfit comfortably cruised past Bangladesh in a thoroughly professional outing. Adam Zampa took five wickets as he helped Australia bowl Bangladesh out for just a mere 74 runs.

It was an important triumph for the Aussies who looked to improve their net run rate substantially, and that’s exactly what they did to move into second spot in the group. Aaron Finch led the way for his side, with a quick-fire 40 runs.

Meanwhile, the West Indies continued their poor tournament with another loss against Sri Lanka by 20 runs. They were put to the task of chasing down 189, but in the end it wasn’t enough.

They are currently fifth in the group with just one win so far this campaign. They will look onto bigger and better things in next year’s World Cup in Australia. However, they will still be keen to spoil the party.

Despite Australia being clear favourites for Saturday’s tie with the West Indies, they still have the capabilities to pull off an upset. However, I’ll still back Australia to get the job done in must-win match if they want to make the play-offs.
