It looks a wide open field for the Honda Classic at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens as the Florida swing of the PGA Tour gets underway, and that makes finding the winner a tough proposition.
Tommy Fleetwood heads the betting from Brooks Koepka with 2017 winner Rickie Fowler and Gary Woodland, the man he beat into second place in that event, next best.
Fowler ($15 BetEasy) won by four shots three years ago and showed his liking for the Honda Classic when also finishing runner-up to Keith Mitchell (Koepka was also runner-up) last year.
Fowler has played four times this year, finishing fifth in the Tournament of Champions and 10th in The American Express before missing the cut in the Farmers Insurance Open and never looking a threat when 37th in the Phoenix Open.
He will need to rediscover his best form, but he likes PGA National and can give us a run for our money.
At bigger odds, Wyndham Clark ($67 BetEasy) can build upon last year’s seventh placed effort when he slipped away on the final round to finish four shots off winner Mitchell.
Clark has been solid if unspectacular over the last week in finishing 17th and 18th in the Pebble Beach Pro-Am and Genesis Open but his course form makes him of interest this week.
