CF Orr Stakes Tips
The Lindsay Smith-trained Scales Of Justice looks set to go to a new level when he contests Saturday’s Group 1 CF Orr Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield.
The dual Group 1 winner resumed this campaign with a dominant victory in the Australia Stakes (1200m) at The Valley where he went 14.1 lengths better than standard BM.
Ironically, the son of Not A Single Doubt went 14.1 lengths better than BM when first-up last campaign in the Bletchingly Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield.
He then disappointed as favourite in the Spring Stakes (1200m) at Morphettville when runner-up to Dalasan, but he bounced back with a personal best in the Memsie Stakes (1400m) going 18.3 lengths better than BM.
Scales Of Justice is low-level flying and I can’t see anything beating him if he kicks on from that first-up run.
