His sire, Casamento, was a Group 3 winner in France over 2000m, and he has sired multiple winners up to 2000m. He carried 56kg in his first win over this trip and then had to carry 58.5kg last start. Morrison said he made the mistake of running him in Australia prior to the Melbourne Cup which backfired as the horse ran flat in his main target.
