Vancouver Canucks vs Montreal Canadiens Tips & Predictions
The Montreal Canadiens will be hoping to extend their recent dominance over the Vancouver Canucks when the two sides square off on Wednesday night – and at the same time avenge their last encounter, which the Canucks won in overtime.
Montreal had won the previous eight meetings before that showdown in February last year and will be confident of registering another victory, with the Canucks losing three of their four matches so far this season.
Vancouver won their opening match against Edmonton, but then suffered a defeat the following day in the reverse fixture, followed by back-to-back defeats to the Calgary Flames.
Meanwhile, the Canadiens bounced back from an overtime loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs by toppling the Oilers in consecutive games over the weekend.
Montreal have been convincing in their last two matches and should be able to get the job done against a Canucks team who have lost by 5-2, 3-0 and 5-2 scores in their last three matches.
