Green Bay Packers @ Minnesota Vikings – December 24

The Green Bay Packers travel to bitter rivals Minnesota on Monday night football knowing that one win in their final two games will clinch the conference title.

Matt LeFleur’s men, led by the ageless Aaron Rodgers, were never supposed to be in this position and with their rankings for rushing and passing in the bottom half of the league it makes a current 11-3 record even more remarkable.

The Vikings are in hot pursuit, however, chasing their first 8-0 record at home for 10 years. Kirk Cousins has looked impressive in the pocket this year, however, with Dalvin Cook out this week it seriously dents Minnesota’s strike power in the running game.

Both teams have been in good form of late with only one loss in their last 5 games each. When you look at those, the Packers went down narrowly in San Fran and the Vikings lost to the Seahawks with hefty injuries going into the game.

On paper, the teams look very evenly matched but going into Viking country even when they are missing Cook won’t be easy…particularly going up against Vikings safety Anthony Harris, who has five interceptions for the season, and cornerbacks Xavier Rhodes and Trae Waynes, who are having great seasons as well. This will put more emphasis on Aaron Jones to perform at RB for the Packers if the Vikings can shut down the passing game.

With Cook out, Cousins will be looking to air the ball out more and with Stefon Diggs averaging 74 yards per game we would expect similar stats again here. When Diggs or Thielen are usually facing double coverage, Cousins looks to TE Kyle Rudolph in the Red Zone.

Our Same Game Multi:

Minnesota Vikings To Win
Kyle Rudpolph To Score Anytime
Aaron Jones To Score Anytime
Stefon Diggs over 60 yards receiving

Indianapolis Colts @ New Orleans Saints – December 17

Our same game multi for the final game of NFL week 15 sees the Indianapolis Colts travelling to New Orleans to take on the Saints in the SuperDome.

The Saints played out an absolute thriller last week against the 49ers, narrowly losing 48-46 on the day but carving apart a usually resolute San Fran defence. The fact there was over 90 points in that game and the Saints averaging over 26.5 points per game in offence shows how Drew Brees, Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara are having MVP level seasons once again.

The Colts, on the other hand, have battled all year since losing starting QB Andrew Luck. Travelling to New Orleans carrying a three-game losing streak, it is hard to see how the Colts can compete offensively or defensively. They allow big points per game and give up plenty of passing yards as well.

The Saints main attacking threat is without doubt Thomas who is having an MVP level season. Against the 49ers he registered a 134-yard game as well as 1 TD to move to seven total for the season. Brees is targeting Thomas an average of 10 times per game and with the Colts being so weak against the pass he could go big again.

There’ll be points, the Saints operate as a team with an attack is the best form of defence mentality. Expect Brees to utilise all his weapons and they are rightly expected to win by 2 touchdowns or more.

Our Same Game Multi:

New Orleans -9.5 Game Line
Total Game Points over 47.5
Michael Thomas Over 80 yards receiving
Michael Thomas to score a TD

New York Giants @ Philadelphia Eagles – December 10

Monday Night Football is an all east coast affair this week with the Giants taking the short trip down the coast to take on the Eagles.

New York have had so many issues with injuries this season and that continues into week 14 with TEs Evan Engram and Rhett Ellison ruled out and starting QB Daniel Jones also struggling, meaning Eli Manning runs the offence against Philly. One glimmer of hope is the return of WR Golden Tate who comes back into the side after being ruled out with concussion.

Philly have had their own struggles this season and will be looking to bounce back from a 3-game losing streak including most recently having surprising lost to the Dolphins down in Miami.

In the defeat to Miami, the running game was massively depleted with Jordan Howard missing. One of the few bright outcomes of the game for Philly was the combination of Wentz and Jeffery, who combined for 137 yards and a touchdown. With Howard questionable again this week and the Giants having one of the worst passing defences, we’re looking at Jeffery to rack up big numbers again.

Manning comes back in to lead the Giants offence and not having played in 3 months he comes in with no fear to open up the shoulders and throw some big plays. However, the issue hasn’t been the QB but the O-line which had generally collapsed quicker than a wet paper bag giving no time to make plays. With Eli not getting any younger its hard to see how a more immobile quarterback can improve fortunes.

Overall it’s hard to not see Philly winning and winning with big points. With the season on the line and returning home, they won’t want to be a headline of an Eli Manning comeback.

What worked well in recent weeks will go well again and we’re looking at Jeffery to make big yards and get opportunities to score.

To boost the price, Saquon Barkley is getting back to his best after an early season ankle sprain and given the reduced threat from Tight Ends we’re expecting Eli to use him heavily.

Same Game Multi:

Philadelphia Eagles to Win
Alshon Jeffery 60 plus receiving yards
Alshon Jeffery Anytime TD
Saquon Barkley 60 plus rushing yards

Seattle Seahawks @ Los Angeles Rams – December 9

Another huge matchup rounds off Sunday night football this week as the high flying Seahawks travel down the west coast to take on the Rams at the Coliseum in LA.

Jared Goff and the rest of the Rams looked more like the side of 2018 when they bounced back with a good win over the Cardinals, chalking up 34 points on the day. Aaron Donald was largely ineffective against Baltimore the week before but pressured the pocket well and managed to keep Murray on the back foot the whole game.

Seattle on the other hand have been going strength to strength in recent weeks beating the in form Vikings, taking away the 49ers’ undefeated record and the huge come back in OT against Tampa. Pete Carroll’s men have looked dynamic in the running game and with Wilson in MVP form it’s easy to see why they’re getting tipped to go the whole way this season.

The biggest stand out for us is the 6 and 0 record of Seattle away from home. The Seahawks have been playing really well offensively and seem to cut teams open with ease. The Rams are also more offensively minded and with the Seahawks open to shipping points we’re expecting it to be another high scoring affair.

We’re expecting the running game to be big again this week and like the price around Carson to get 60-plus rushing yards and Gurley to get 40-plus rushing yards. The Rams have almost been nursing Gurley in recent weeks, however, when they need to unleash him and the playoffs are on the line he eats up the yards.

Our Same Game Multi:

Seattle Seahawks to win
Over 44.5 Points
Chris Carson over 60 rushing yards
Todd Gurley over 40 rushing yards
