A-League odds for the 2021/22 season. Who will win this year’s premiership?

A-League 2020/21 Odds – Melbourne City are the favourites to win back-to-back A-League premierships as the 2021/22 season prepares to get underway next weekend.

Melbourne City and the Sky Blues met in the second consecutive A-League Grand Final, in which Melbourne finished the match 3-1 victors in front of 14,000 fans.

Erick Mombaerts outfit have managed to keep hold of their most valuable players and have brought in Australian international Matthew Leckie to bolster their already strong goal-scoring threat. They enter the season the $4.33 favourites on Sportsbet.

Sydney FC narrowly missed out on winning their third successive premiership and will be keen to get that winning feeling back after losing last seasons final. They are currently just behind City, paying at $4.50

Rivals to both heavyweights Melbourne Victory are priced at $7.50 to claim the silverware after enduring a successful off-season period. They will be keen to bring the glory days back to their fans after being awarded the wooden-spoon last season. They currently have the same odds as the Western Sydney Wanderers ($7.50).

Perth Glory is listed at $9.50 after the signing of Daniel Sturridge, with Macarthur FC ($11), Adelaide United and Brisbane Roar (both $13) further back.

Lead by Alessandro Diamanti and new coach John Aloisi, the unpredictable Western United are at good at a good value odd of $17. They are joined by the Newcastle Jets who were in a bottom of the table scrap with Melbourne Victory last season.

Traditional battlers Central Coast Mariners and New Zealand’s Wellington Phoenix are bot the least likely to win the A-League premiership according to Sportsbet, both paying at $21.
