Two of the A-League’s most in-form teams clash in Round 20 action on Saturday afternoon as Brisbane Roar face Perth Glory.

Roar vs Glory kicks off at 5.00pm AEDT at Dolphin Stadium in Redcliffe. The game will be broadcast live on Fox Sports and ABC in Australia.

After a slow start to the season, Brisbane are currently thriving, surging into the top six after a strong last two months that has seen them lost just one game in 2020.

The Roar have opened up a four-point buffer in sixth spot over Western United earning a 1-0 away win over their finals rivals last weekend and can further cement their top six status with another upset on Saturday.

However, they must overcome a superb Perth Glory outfit, who are unbeaten in their last nine A-League matches.

Glory do come into this encounter on the back of a loss though, going down to FC Tokyo in the AFC Champions League earlier this week and having to make the long flight back to Australia before heading to Redcliffe for this showdown.

Perth also bounced back from a slow start to the season and if they can avoid defeat against Brisbane, they will overtake Melbourne City on the ladder – and ensure second spot if they take all three points.

Glory are undefeated against Brisbane in their last four games, but the combination of the short turnaround from Japan and the Roar’s good form should ensure a tight battle in this clash. A share of the spoils could be on the cards.
