Chelsea vs Manchester City Tips & Predictions
A blockbuster FA Cup semi-final awaits on Saturday at Wembley when Man City and Chelsea collide.
Both teams are fresh off making the Champions League semi-finals mid-week, with City accounting for Dortmund and Chelsea overcoming Porto – despite losing the second leg 1-0.
City are still on for a historic quadruple and will be determined to extend their FA Cup semi-final record to 10 wins from their last 12 games. City have won seven of their last eight matches in all competitions, with their only blemish coming against Leeds last weekend – but Pep Guardiola was resting several stars for the Champions League.
Thomas Tuchel has transformed Chelsea into a very strong side, especially at the back, with the Blues keeping a clean sheet in eight of their last 10 games.
However, keeping out this City side will be their toughest test yet. City have also been great in defence this season, but they have conceded in their last three games.
I can see both teams scoring here, but City are still the team to beat in England and arguably in Europe as well.
