Man Utd get up and running after a break in Week 1 and look to continue from where they left off at the end of last season, with the team unbeaten in their last 14 matches dating back to January – and it’s no coincidence that run of form started with the acquisition of Bruno Fernandes, who is yet to lose a league fixture. Palace were victorious against Southampton in Week 1 but this is a big step up in class – although they’ve fared well in recent visits to Old Trafford.

Newcastle were solid in conquering West Ham in Week 1, but they have a poor record against Brighton, going winless in all six of their EPL meetings and failing to score in five of those games. Mouth-watering showdown between the reigning champions and Frank Lampard’s ambitious side who are determined to close the gap this season. Don’t expect too many goals in this clash. Sheffield will be keen to shut up shop after leaking two goals in the first 10 minutes vs Wolves, while Aston Villa aren’t exactly known for their attacking prowess. There’s a genuine concern Sheffield will struggle this season and suffer a hangover from last campaign’s exploits.
