EPL Tips & Predictions: Burnley vs Crystal Palace
🗓 Date: Tuesday November 24
⏰ Time: 4.30am AEDT
🏟 Stadium: Turf Moor
Burnley are winless after seven games so far this season and welcome an in-form Crystal Palace outfit to Turf Moor in this clash as they continue their desperate search for three points.
All things considered, Palace appear excellent value at $2.80 to record their fifth victory of the season and potentially move up to equal-fifth spot on the ladder depending on the result of Wolves and Southampton.
Burnley simply don’t look threatening at the moment, scoring just three goals all season, while Palace are coming off a sensational 4-1 thrashing of Leeds before the International break.
It’s also taking in-form teams to beat Palace this season, with each of their three defeats coming against clubs that have been ninth or higher on the ladder.
You have to go back three years for the last time Burnley beat Palace at this venue. Wilfried Zaha has scored in his last two visits to Turf Moor, and considering he’s scored five goals and made two assists already this season, he will be relishing his chance for a big game against the struggling Clarets.
- Burnley has lost their last four EPL home matches
- Crystal Palace has won the first half in four of their last five EPL matches vs Burnley
- Wilfried Zaha has scored a goal in his last two matches at Turf Moor
- Burnley has lost two of their last three EPL home matches by a 1-0 scoreline
EPL Tips & Predictions: Wolves vs Southampton
🗓 Date: Tuesday November 24
⏰ Time: 7.00am AEDT
🏟 Stadium: Molineux Stadium
It’s been a phenomenal start to the season for Southampton after they briefly topped the table for the first time in 32 years a few weeks ago and they will solidify themselves in third spot if they can upset Wolves away to conclude Round 9 action here.
Since falling in their opening two matches of the season, Southampton have won five and drawn one of their last six EPL matches.
Wolves are underwhelming at the moment but appear to be heading in the right direction, winning three of their last five matches.
Considering Wolves have lost just one of their last 23 EPL matches as home favourite and Southampton’s blistering form, we’re liking the both teams to score market here.
Southampton have scored in 20 of their last 22 away games in the league, while Wolves have found the back of the net in 22 of their last 25 home games. Furthermore, the last three meetings between these teams have seen both teams score.
Southampton have also lost just one of their last nine away games in the league and have scored eight goals in their last three away trips.
- Southampton have only failed to score in two of their last 22 away league games
- Wolves leaked goals to all but one of the top 11 EPL teams last season
- Wolves have scored in 22 of their last 25 home EPL matches
- Southampton have scored eight goals in their last three away EPL matches
- The last three games between these teams have seen both teams score
