NRL ROUND 6 PREDICTIONS
NRL-Round-By-Round Predictions – Penrith attempt to make it six wins from six to start the season when they launch the round against Brisbane on Thursday night, while the Storm and Roosters also collide in a blockbuster showdown on Friday night – read on below as we preview every NRL Round 6 game, along with providing our best bets and tips.

- Thursday April 15 | Suncorp Stadium | 7.50pm
The Panthers have been sensational to begin the season, winning all five games and barely conceding any points – they will be confident of registering another big victory against a Broncos side who have lost four of their first five.
- Friday April 16 | McDonald Jones Stadium | 6.00pm
Both teams coming off last-start defeats. Newcastle were humbled by the Titans and could be in for a long couple of months with Mitchell Pearce sidelined, while the Sharks couldn’t finish off the Roosters despite a strong early lead.
- Friday April 16 | AAMI Park | 7.55pm
Melbourne have scored 92 points in their last two wins over the struggling Broncos and Bulldogs and will look to make another statement here. The Roosters have been impressive since losing Luke Keary to injury, beating the Warriors and Sharks, but this is their first true test.
- Saturday April 17 | Glen Willow Oval | 3.00pm
Manly scored their first win of the season against the Warriors courtesy of a last-second Daly Cherry-Evans field goal and they get Tom Trbojevic back for this clash – and they’ll need their No. 1 firing, with the Titans coming off a mammoth win over the Knights.
- Saturday April 17 | Stadium Australia | 5.30pm
The Rabbitohs are on a four-match winning streak and playing some of the best football in the competition, while the Tigers continue to be plagued by erratic inconsistency, going down at home to the Cowboys in their last outing.
- Saturday April 17 | GIO Stadium | 7.35pm
Canberra were blown away by the Panthers last week and face another tough test against an Eels side who will be determined for an immediate bounce back after losing their first game of the season to the Dragons.
St George Illawarra Dragons vs New Zealand Warriors
- Sunday April 18 | Netstrata Jubilee Stadium | 2.00pm
The Dragons are absolutely flying heading into this clash, winning their last four matches and beating the previously-unbeaten Eels last weekend, while the Warriors have been up and down to start the season and lost to Manly in Round 5.

North Queensland Cowboys vs Canterbury Bulldogs
- Sunday April 18 | Queensland County Bank Stadium | 4.05pm
Two of the competition’s battling sides clash to conclude Round 6. The Bulldogs have been woeful in their 0-5 start, but managed to score 18 points against the Storm last time out, while the Cowboys picked up their first win of the season by upsetting the Tigers.
