Both teams are reeling heading into this clash – the Storm have suffered back-to-back defeats, conceding 30+ points to the Panthers and Cowboys, while the Sea Eagles have lost star man Tom Trbojevic to a season-ending shoulder injury following their narrow loss to the Eels. Melbourne have won the last five meetings between the teams.

The Panthers are flying high at the top of the ladder with 10 wins from their 11 games and are coming off a 20-point victory over the Roosters, while the Cowboys have proven they’re the real deal in 2022 after crushing Melbourne by 30 points last week to cement their top four status. Brisbane Broncos vs Gold Coast Titans NRL Round 12 Predictions

  • Friday May 27 | Suncorp Stadium | 7.55pm AEST

Could the Broncos join the Cowboys in the top four shortly? If they keep playing like this anything’s possible, with Brisbane coming into this showdown on the back of a five-match winning run – including demolishing the Knights last week without key halfback Adam Reynolds. They can’t afford to let their guard down here though, with the Titans winning three of the last four games between the teams.

New Zealand Warriors vs Newcastle Knights

  • Saturday May 28 | Moreton Daily Stadium | 3.00pm AEST

Both struggling teams are desperate for two points. The Knights were once again woeful at home last week in a 36-12 loss to the Broncos, while the Warriors went down to the Dragons by a 1-12 margin for the second time in 2022. Newcastle have won the last two meetings by exactly four points.

South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Wests Tigers

  • Saturday May 29 | Accor Stadium | 5.30pm AEST

The Tigers will be confident having conquered the Bulldogs last week to return to the winners circle, but more importantly, following their stunning upset over the Rabbitohs from earlier in the season, with Luke Brooks kicking the match-winning field goal with seconds left on the clock. Five of the last six encounters between the teams have been decided by eight points or less, so another thriller could be not he cards.

Cronulla Sharks vs Sydney Roosters

  • Saturday May 29 | PointsBet Stadium | 7.35pm AEST

The Roosters couldn’t back up their win over the Eels as they went down by 20 points to the Panthers, but they will be hoping to get back on track here against another potential top four rival. The Roosters will be confident of doing just that having won the last six games between the teams.

Canterbury Bulldogs vs St George Illawarra Dragons

  • Sunday May 30 | Belmore Sports Ground | 2.00pm AEST

Can a return to their spiritual home of Belmore spark a change of fortunes for the embattled Bulldogs? They went down to the Tigers in their first game since Trent Barrett’s departure, while the Dragons are coming off a win over the Warriors. Canterbury won their last meeting 28-6 in 2021 for one of their few wins over the last two years.

Canberra Raiders vs Parramatta Eels

  • Sunday May 30 | GIO Stadium | 4.05pm AEST

The Eels continue to search for some consistency after narrowly escaping the Sea Eagles in the dying stages last week – but having defeated the Storm and Panthers away this season, they know they can beat the best at the peak of their powers. However, beating teams like the Raiders is where Parramatta can struggle – as illustrated by a 12-10 loss to the Green Machine in their last meeting.
