Here are the latest upcoming previews and predictions for Round 14 in the NRL Telstra Premiership.

Knights vs Sea Eagles

Betting Tip: Sea Eagles to win

It takes a brave punter to back the Knights this season. Newcastle, to put it simply, doesn’t seem to know how to score points. They average just 13.25 points per game, which is by far the lowest in the competition. The Sea Eagles are also in red-hot form after absolutely crushing the Broncos and keeping them to just six points. If the Broncos couldn’t score against Manly, don’t expect the Knights to.

Storm vs Cowboys

Betting Tip: Storm to win

The Storm don’t lose many games throughout the whole season, and especially not at home. The Cowboys have a very long trip down to Melbourne and will struggle to contain the Storm’s attack, which is the best in the NRL, especially when the Cowboys have the worst defence in the top eight.

Dolphins vs Dragons

Betting Tip: Dolphins to win

This should be a very close game. Both sides are evenly matched and have struggled with consistency this season. Based on the Dolphins having the superior attack, however, averaging almost 25 points per game, as well as a home-ground advantage, they should be able to get the job done against the Dragons.

Sharks vs Warriors

Betting Tip: Sharks to win

The Warriors are coming off a very tough and bruising battle against the Rabbitohs, while the Sharks had a bye and will be fresh as a daisy. The Sharkies also have a home-ground advantage and have a very impressive 4-1 record at PointsBet Stadium this season.

Broncos vs Titans

Betting Tip: Broncos to win

Both these Queensland sides are struggling this season. Many were predicting the Broncos, who are in 11th, to make the top four while the Titans are at the bottom of the ladder. Despite Brisbane’s form slump, we are backing them to snap their 4-game losing streak. They have too much attacking prowess not to, with stars like Payne Haas and Jesse Arthars.

Raiders vs Rabbitohs

Betting Tip: Raiders to win

The Bunnies are in for a shock when they travel down to Canberra. The Raiders are in incredible form, winning four of their last five matches, and good luck beating them at GIO Stadium, where they’ve won five games and suffered just a single defeat this season.

Also, the Rabbitohs’ defence is in for a long night because Canberra leads the NRL in tackle breaks, line breaks, and post-contact metres.

Tigers vs Panthers

Betting Tip: Panthers to win

The Tigers have the home-ground advantage, but the Panthers have historically dominated the Tigers, winning 26 of their last 41 meetings. The Panthers also have the superior defence and will be looking to build on their solid performance against the Eels last week.

Don’t be surprised if the Tigers look flat after a very difficult and exhausting game against the Cowboys up in Townsville last week.

Bulldogs vs Eels

Betting Tip: Bulldogs to win

The Bulldogs and the Eels are in two different classes. Even though the Eels always bring their A game to this historic rivalry, the Bulldogs’ defence is just too good. Amazingly, the Doggies only concede, on average, 18 points per game, while the Eels are giving up over 25 points per game.
