Kiwi Ferns vs Samoa Tips & Prediction
Our pick: Kiwi Ferns to win. New Zealand have won every Test between the sides, and they and the Jillaroos are the only women’s teams to win all three group games. They scored 150 points in the group and conceded 24.
The angle we like: Samoa at the line. The last meeting was close: Samoa led 20-0 at half-time in the 2025 Pacific Championships before New Zealand came back to win 22-20. Samoa also beat England 24-6 in Wollongong, and New Zealand were held to 18-12 by Fiji in their opener. If the Kiwi Ferns are set a big start, Samoa with it is where we will look first.
The odds. We did not have semi-final prices from our bookmakers when this preview was written on Monday 2 November, so our tip carries no price. Compare the head to head and the line across our best NRL betting sites before you bet, and check the team lists first.

Kiwi Ferns vs Samoa Betting Markets
- Head to head: the match winner, with golden point extra time if it is level at full time.
- Line: a points start for the underdog, usually the better market when the head-to-head price is short.
- Total points: over or under a set number of combined points. Women’s games run for 70 minutes, so totals are lower than in the men’s game.
- Try scorers: first, last and anytime try scorer markets on both squads.
