Sharks vs Dragons

The king of the Shire is at stake in this one as two historic rivalries from South Sydney face off. Interestingly, both teams are coming off humiliating losses and will be keen to rebound as quickly as possible. On paper, the Sharks are the stronger side and are in the hunt for a top 4 spot, but anything can happen in rivalry matches.

In the end, the Dragons’ lack of attacking firepower will let them down in this one. Expect a close first half, but then the Sharks should pull away off the back of some tries from their high-flying centre, KL Iro.

Titans vs Sea Eagles

The Titans are wallowing away at the bottom of the NRL ladder and look destined to remain there. Neither their attack nor their defence is working, as they are conceding over 31 points per game while struggling to score more than 20.

Despite the Titans’ poor form, they do have home-field advantage, and the Sea Eagles didn’t look too crash hot against the Knights last week. But with Manly gunning for a top 8 spot and the likes of Reuben Garrick and an in-form Lehi Hopoate in the side, they should be too strong for Gold Coast.

Knights vs Roosters

Betting Tip: Roosters to win

The Knights may have scored 26 points against the Sea Eagles last week, but don’t expect them to repeat that attacking performance this week. The Roosters will be fresh as a daisy coming off a bye, and Newcastle are going to be exhausted within 30 minutes trying to contain the likes of James Tedesco, Robert Toia, and Mark Nawaqanitawase. We are predicting a blowout. The Roosters should comfortably win by 15 points or more.

Cowboys vs Dolphins

Betting Tip: Dolphins to win

The Dolphins will be brimming with confidence after putting a cricket score on the Dragons last week. The Dolphins have one of the best attacks in the whole competition and are 4th in total runs, 4th in total metres gained, and 3rd in tries and total points.

The Cowboys, who concede over 27 points per game, are going to struggle to contain the Dolphins’ attack for the full 80 minutes. Unfortunately, the local Townsville crowd won’t be able to make tackles for them. Don’t be surprised if the Dolphins win by 10 points or more!

Rabbitohs vs Bulldogs

Betting Tip: Bulldogs to win

The Rabbitohs appear to be on a downward spiral. They’ve shown glimmers of being a solid top 8 side but have looked poor over the last couple of weeks. The problem with the Bunnies is that they just give up too many points. On average, they concede almost 24 points per game and rank 2nd this season for missed tackles.

On the flip side, the Bulldogs’ defence is by far the best in the whole of the NRL. Amazingly, they concede just 18 points per game and lead the comp when it comes to possession. They will also come into this clash with a lot of confidence, considering the last time the Doggies faced the Bunnies, they thrashed them 32-0!
