Storm vs Panthers

Betting Tip: Storm to win

A rematch of last year’s Grand Final — you don’t want to miss this one. The Panthers are coming off a gruelling loss to the Roosters last week and now have to travel to Melbourne, while the Storm will be fresh as a daisy after enjoying a bye.

Warriors vs Roosters

The Roosters may have looked great against the Panthers last week, but don’t expect that kind of performance week in, week out. The Chooks have lost too many key players. It’ll be tough for them to beat the Warriors in New Zealand, especially when the Warriors will be beaming with confidence after dismantling Manly.

Broncos vs Cowboys

Betting Tip: Broncos to win

The Cowboys have been dreadful this season and only have a slightly better points difference than the Eels. We expect the Broncos to score a lot of tries. Don’t be surprised if Jesse Arthars crosses the line a few times. If the Broncos can’t beat the Cowboys, especially in Brisbane, then Michael Maguire needs to step down.

Sharks vs Rabbitohs

Wayne Bennett has got the Bunnies off to a great start with two tough wins. However, the Sharks are a serious title contender this year and are one or two levels above the Rabbitohs. With lightning-quick and powerful ball runners like Kayal Iro and Ronaldo Mulitalo, the Sharkies should win by 10+.

Dolphins vs Wests Tigers

Betting Tip: Tigers to win

This should be a close match. Benji Marshall’s side has improved a lot since last year, and Jarome Luai is one of the best players in the entire competition. However, travelling to Queensland is going to really test the Tigers. We are expecting Luai to really step up and produce some late-game magic to get the Tigers over the line. Don’t be surprised if this is a low-scoring affair.

Titans vs Knights

Betting Tip: Knights to win

The Titans may have a home-field advantage, but the Gold Coast is hardly a stronghold. Last season, the Titans had one of the weakest home records. Kalyn Ponga has been absolutely flying for the Knights, and his kicking skill could be the deciding factor in this game.

Newcastle have only conceded 20 points across the first two games of the season. Gold Coast will struggle to put enough points on the board to beat the Knights.

Eels vs Bulldogs

Betting Tip: Bulldogs to win

The Eels haven’t improved at all since last season. They look like a Ron Massey Cup team. Parramatta’s defence is in absolute shambles after Melbourne scored 56, and the very average Wests Tigers scored 36. We’d be shocked if the Bulldogs didn’t win by at least 12 points and failed to score less than six tries!

Sea Eagles vs Raiders

Betting Tip: Sea Eagles to win

This is an interesting game as the Raiders are coming off a fantastic performance against the touted Broncos, scoring 32 points against them. On the flip side, the Sea Eagles were destroyed over in New Zealand. However, Manly is a very different team when playing at Brookvale. They have one of the best home records of all time and always find a way to win. You’d have to be brave to bet against Manly at Brookie.
