Here are the latest upcoming previews and predictions for Round 13 in the NRL Telstra Premiership.

Dragons vs Knights

Betting Tip: Dragons to win

The Knights looked terrific against the Panthers last week. However, Newcastle miss way too many tackles and have by far the worst attack in the whole of the NRL. Somehow, Newcastle only manage to score 13.9 points per game, while the Dragons score, on average, 22.8 points per game. Even though the Dragons are hardly title contenders this year, they should be strong for the Knights, especially at Jubilee.

Titans vs Storm

Betting Tip: Storm to win

Despite the Titans having home-ground advantage, defeating Melbourne will be too big of a challenge for the Gold Coast. The Storm have a talent-stacked side and can rack up tries in a flurry. Don’t be surprised if Melbourne wins by 20+ points because the Titans have the worst defence in the NRL and concede on average a whopping 31 points per game.

Cowboys vs Tigers

Betting Tip: Cowboys to win

Even though the Tigers have a winning record away this season, the Cowboys are always incredibly tough to beat in Townsville. Both teams have sloppy defences, so we are expecting a very high-scoring game. Look for the Tigers to fade in the heat in the second half. The key stat to look out for is set completion. If the Cowboys are completing over 80% of their sets, the win should be within reach.

Sea Eagles vs Broncos

Betting Tip: Sea Eagles to win

It’s been a frustrating year for both Manly and Brisbane fans. Both teams have shown glimmers of being top 4 sides, but have been incredibly inconsistent. With home-ground advantage and the Broncos winning just 1 of their last 4 games, we are backing Manly to get the job done at Brookvale. Lehi Hopoate has been in great form for the Sea Eagles and is a good choice for first try scorer.

Rabbitohs vs Warriors

Betting Tip: Rabbitohs to win

The Warriors look like title contenders when playing in Auckland, but they have struggled to win in Sydney. Look for Latrell Mitchell to have a big game and Wayne Bennett to cook up the perfect strategy to deal with the Warriors, who always find themselves in very close games. Things will likely be all square with 20 minutes to go, but then the Bunnies will find a way through. We are backing Isaiah Tass to score the match winner.

Panthers vs Eels

Betting Tip: Eels to win

Amazingly, the Panthers are at the bottom of the table after another dreadful performance. The club looks in dire straits, while the Eels have turned the corner and are playing some decent footy. With such low team morale, it’s hard to back the Panthers in this one. Look for Isaiah Iongi and Josh Addo-Carr to cause the wobbly Panthers’ defence fits all game long.

Roosters vs Raiders

Betting Tip: Raiders to win

The Roosters demolished the Sharks last week, but the Raiders are on fire and are minor premiership contenders. Canberra has the second-best attack in the competition, slightly behind the Storm. They score, on average, 28 points per game. The Roosters are going to struggle to keep the Raiders out all game, especially when Canberra completes 80% of its sets.
