Here are the latest happenings in the NRL Telstra Premiership at the end of Round 10.

Dolphins Outlast Eels

Parramatta Eels 16-20 The Dolphins

The Dolphins showed some real guts winning on the road against the Eels. Things were all square until Herbie Farnworth decided to slice through Parramatta’s defence and ran 60m to score. After the Dolphins were awarded a penalty following a nasty crusher tackle, Jamayne Isaako sealed the game with a penalty goal in the 70th minute.

Knights Clinched By Titans

Newcastle Knights 20-24 Gold Coast Titans

After uprooting the Rabbitohs last week, everyone was expecting big things from the Knights in front of the old faithful at Newcastle. They played a great first half of footy with three converted tries and a penalty and went into the sheds up 20-6. However, Newcastle were shocking in the second half and could do nothing but watch as the Titans scored three unanswered tries.

Rabbitohs Bounce Back Against Broncos

South Sydney Rabbitohs 22-14 Brisbane Broncos

This game was a tale of two halves. Jordan Riki and Deine Mariner got the Broncos to a 14-0 lead at the end of the first half. However, the Bunnies didn’t roll over, and thanks to an incredible performance from Latrell Mitchell, which included two try-saving tackles, the Rabbitohs scored three second-half tries.

Bulldogs Take Canberra

Canberra Raiders 20-32 Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs

The Raiders have been incredible at home this season, but the Bulldogs aren’t leading the comp by accident. Canberra looked to be in cruise control after going into the sheds up 20-0. However, the Raiders completely imploded in the second half, conceding 32 unanswered points!

Warriors Win a Close One Against Dragons

St. George Illawarra Dragons 14-15 New Zealand Warriors

The Warriors prove they are real title contenders by winning in Wollongong against a Dragons side. After scoring two tries in the first 15 minutes, the Warriors showed tenacious defence as they held at bay. Corey Allan’s try in the 51st minute levelled the game, but a clutch field goal from Luke Metcalf was enough to secure the victory for the Warriors.

Things End All Level Between Cowboys and Panthers

North Queensland Cowboys 30-30 Penrith Panthers

The Cowboys and Panthers played the game of the season at Townsville. Both sides traded tries throughout the game, racking up five each. Scott Drinkwater and Nathan Cleary were both perfect, adding five conversions each. With all things tied up, the teams went to golden point. However, neither side could find the game-winning field goal, as Drinkwater, Jake Clifford, and Cleary all missed.

Storm Do a Demo Job on Tigers

Melbourne Storm 64-0 Wests Tigers

The Tigers put in one of the worst NRL performances in a very long time as the Storm worked a cricket score over Benji Marshall’s team. The game was over after just 23 minutes when Josh King scored Melbourne’s fourth try. However, the Storm didn’t let their foot off the gas, going on to score 11 tries. Amazingly, Ryan Papenhuyzen slotted 10/11 conversions.

Sharks Upset Sea Eagles

Manly Sea Eagles 14-30 Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks

Brookvale is no longer the fortress it once was as the Sharks beat Manly. The Sea Eagles looked shell-shocked in the first half after Ronaldo Mulitalo and Addin Fonua-Blake scored two early tries. Tolutau Koula’s double and Reuben Garrick’s kicking levelled the game with 20 to go, but then Sharkies found another gear, running in three more tries.
