Samoa vs France Preview & Prediction

Samoa are chasing consecutive victories for the first time since 2016 when they square off against France on Sunday night.

After a complement performance in their opening game resulted in a crushing 60-6 loss to England, Samoa turned the tables with a thumping 72-4 triumph over Greece in their second game.

It was a much-improved display from Matt Parish’s side and now they can target another big game against France, with a win setting up a mouth-watering showdown with Tonga in the quarter-finals.

Meanwhile, France are still a chance on paper to make the quarter-finals, but they need to win this game by eight points or more.

Listed as $21 outsiders, France are obviously up against it here, but they will be buoyed by England’s thrashing of Samoa in the tournament opener.
