Brisbane Roar vs Macarthur FC Preview & Prediction

An intriguing encounter awaits on Saturday afternoon at Suncorp as the Roar play host to Macarthur FC.

Brisbane are down in eighth spot on the ladder, but with fresh hopes for a late finals charge, while Macarthur are sitting pretty in fourth and have their finals destiny in their own hands.

The Roar looked to have run their race after winning just one of their nine games between December 15 and February 2, but they’ve only lost once since and are three points adrift of Melbourne City in sixth.

Brisbane are coming off a 1-1 draw on the road against in-form Sydney FC, but perhaps they would feel they should have made more of their extra-man advantage after the Sky Blues went down to 10 in the first half.

Meanwhile, Macarthur have endured a gruelling schedule as of late with their AFC Cup commitments and will be hoping to get back on track after just one win from their last four games.
